Analog collage. 38x35cm/15x14inch. The 1950 Mercury comes from an American magazine from 1950, the Saturday Evening Post. The flowers are originally from the 19th century but are a reprint from the sixties. The background comes from some sort of electrical statistics book.

The strange case of Dr Korsakov and his favorite pet Mr William

My dog friend Willem is spending his holiday with me. He inspired me to make this assemblage although he is more interested in the surroundings of my studio. On the picture you can see him overlooking his hunting ground. The assemblage is made in a drawer with inlay of a piece of a wooden play by Homas and some scrapwood. The frame with portrait was found in an old house and the dog in the bottom is probably from the fifties or sixties and in better days it could move around.

Little Deer

Made this little box a while ago but forgot to place it on my site. Found the back of the box in the woods of East Belgium. SOLD it a few days ago in De Tuin van de Smid on the border of Leiden. Little Deer is one of my favorites and by putting it on my site it will still stay with me. Picture made by Rob Vlieland Fotografie.
