On the first of January there was an article in the newspaper about a man in Norfolk-England who offered his goldfish a life saving operation of € 387,–. Many people had a laugh about it. Probably it is more normal to spend that amount of money on jeans or a diner in a fancy restaurant. As a pet lover I can understand the man.
So when a goldfish of a friend died I asked him to preserve him in the freezer. Then I did the little fellow in a glass jar containing some blue stones and 70% alcohol. His last resting place. 25x25x6cm – 10x10x2,5inch.

Czechoslovakia (part 1)
In my hometown there was a big hall where they sold live stock once a week. They also used it for sports and concerts. Then a disease affecting live stock broke out. The market stopped and the last years of the Groenoordhallen there were big flea markets. That’s where I bought a few sheets of stamps from Czechoslovakia. I worked on it with stamps and blockprint. Just for fun.
