Working on vanitas collages. This is the first one and more are following the next weeks. The collage is made on 425 grams paper and the background is an old map of Italy and the watches are from the brand Helvetia. That explains the title of the collage (20x30cm/8x12inch). All material used are probably from the fifties or earlier.

Assemblage. 30x35x10cm/12x14x4inch. Box full of melancholy and desire. The postcard is French and is from 1951. All selected items in the assamblage are from that period. Except for the frame used for the postcard.

Assemblage made in Studio Schakenbosch in Leidschendam. With St Gerardus on the right. Found in a house in Amsterdam where a old lady just passed away. With some other hockey items, rusted things and, of course, a dog.
