My dog friend Willem is spending his holiday with me. He inspired me to make this assemblage although he is more interested in the surroundings of my studio. On the picture you can see him overlooking his hunting ground. The assemblage is made in a drawer with inlay of a piece of a wooden play by Homas and some scrapwood. The frame with portrait was found in an old house and the dog in the bottom is probably from the fifties or sixties and in better days it could move around.

Children of the world unite (and fight for communism)
Found this communist propaganda magazine from the fifties in Sofia-Bulgaria. It appealed to the communist youth in different countries. Only the cover of the magazine was interesting. It also had emblems of some youth organizations in the world. You can see some in the upper part of the work. Handmade collage. 20x30cm/8x12inch.

In the streets of Sofia
Walking the streets of Sofia I saw the poster covered walls and knew I had to do something with it. I took some paper of the walls and carried it around. In cities along the way I laid out different combinations. It was harder then I thought. But finally In The Streets of Sofia was born in Burgas-Bulgaria.
