Sometimes you start an assemblage and you leave it for half a year in your work place. So sometimes I decide to finish something just for fun and hang it on the street. Here is such an example. Some assemblages and collages at the Stationsweg in Leiden.
Collage made on a framed reproduction. Size approximately 60x70cm with a passe-partout and frame of around 70x80cm. The frame and reproduction come from the artshop Landwehr that housed once in the Haarlemmerstraat in Leiden-The Netherlands. Therefore the title Landwehr. The images used in this collage are all from Roger Dean who made covers for various artists as Yes, Uriah Heep and Osibisa. Not for sale.
Series of collages made in Lecce and Bari after I found some books on a street market in Lecce, Two of them where from the sixties and showed history made clear for youngsters. But with a remarkable interest for Russia and communism. Probably propaganda material from Russia. Many images were of poor quality but therefore interesting and funny.
